I quit...the contest is over. The person who reported you for that is a bigger asshole than I. They win a lifetime supply of smug rightiousness. The whole term Crap comes from the last name Thomas Crapper who founded Crapper & Co., producer of a modern style flush toilet at the turn of the century (19-20, not 20-21)...Another fella nammed John is also responsible for a euphamism regarding ye olde toilet...but you might not be banned for Ho Li John...people are close-minded shits, and I apologize on behalf of reasonable people, who are also assholes, like me...who would never report you for the most minor of "potty" reference. I suddenly have an urge to throw a carebear in the microwave.....mmmmmm.....crispy.

It was probably the Ho that got you banned, not the meaning. If you changed it to hol lee crap you would probably be aright.

Some other names - those of which I thought they will be the reason of the ban - remained untouched, for example: Robbing The Grave", Your Rotting Face ...

ridiculous.

(I personally think none of the names above justifies a 3day-ban, but ok ^^)

Do you really think it was the HO? hmmmm...funny, it never even crossed my mind that THAT could be the reason. I mean, Ho is a pretty popular REAL asian name...as in Don Ho (singer of the ever popular "Tiny Bubbles"). It is also what Santa and the Jolly Green Giant say...Ho, ho, ho! I still hear it on rated G TV...so why is it bad in the game...? I don't get people.

Which is incorrect, since the term predates Mr Crapper by some 400 years, as a term for "grain that was trodden underfoot in a barn, chaff" (ref) and can be traced further back into old French

Back on topic of the post, I wouldn't have reported the name myself but I'm not surprised that someone did. Whilst the word may not be offensive to many it is still a recognised swear word and does offend some.

I'd have just rolled my eyes and carried on

Hi All,
I Iaughed my ass off reading a couple of the names, and yes I wrote it for fun cause my son loves the potty humour when it flashes up in the narrative.
I had to redo all armour, and weps don't work yet(ie.recharges etc.). Have to get new ones.
Well I am now The Rush Geek, watch me get banned for professing my worship of the best band ever...but that's a whole other thread.
